Den

Hudson, New York is known for its antique furniture shops, art galleries, and natural beauty. This room honors where it stands with a coffee table from local furniture maker, Fern and handmade frames from Walnut Hill framers. The deer art on the wall is in honor of all of the deer out the window who - for the sake of the garden - can’t get past the deer fence.

Living & Dining Room

Midcentury furniture sits alongside local craft. The pendants are from Niche Modern in Beacon, New York. The hutch is from Fern and the lamp from local lamp-maker Stone and Sawyer trimmed with ribbon and a glue gun. Robert Sonneman Chrome floor lamps play off the colors in the art by Julian Stanczak. The magazine rack end table is by Edward Wormley for Dunbar.

Kitchen

Surrounded by windows, the main living area is bathed in natural light all day. Architect Leslie Dowling of Dowling Studios designed a perfectly symmetrical kitchen.

Primary Bedroom and bath

A striped Turkish Kilim rug from Double Knot in NYC anchors the menswear-inspired bedroom. Custom pillows with a grid plaid fabric from Ralph Lauren Home. Popham tiles add pattern to the minimalist bathroom.

Guest Bedrooms

A guest bedroom designed to be a comfortable oasis with hotel-like amenities. The super soft bed linens are from Saved NY. The table lamps were made locally. A skylight over the shower allows the sun to illuminate the bathroom tiles by Popham.

Garden

The flower garden, designed by Linda Gibson of Gibson Girl Designs, changes each week from the first daffodils in Spring to the final dahlias in fall. Here we see late Spring tulips and allium.
